06/27/2002 Entry: "Funeral Clown"

I bet you wouldn't hang outside a funeral home while dressed up like a clown. You also have to dance, tumble and wave at people. You have to do this from 7am-9pm on a day the funeral home has a wake happening.

A variation of the bet could be: Dress like a clown and have someone in the funeral home with a video camera ready...Walk up to the casket, kneel and say a prayer then turn around, give your condolences to the family and sit in the room until the services are over. As a security blanket, if anyone says anything or goes to hit you (which they probably will, especially if it's their Grandfather or Grandmother lying in the box) tell them that you knew and love them and wanted to pay your condolences but have a kid's party to do after the wake and don't have enough time to change.
